We started working together during our studies at the Department of Product and Process Design at the Berlin University of the Arts. After graduating in Interactive Systems we formed "Kühne Jäger" in 2008.
The inspiration for our projects comes from everyday situations, observing interaction with the things that surround us. We believe that interaction processes should be effortless and functional. But in our work we like to look for a poetical, playful, engaging way of interaction with products, regardless of whether they are hardware or software.
In 2009 Kühne Jäger was under the Top 10 of the DMY 09, International Design Festival Berlin. "Cable Cubes" was nominated for the DMY 09 Award and was exhibited in the Bauhaus Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung.
